“Before I knew David and started my coaching sessions with him, I lacked self-confidence; could easily be affected by people or things happened around; my mood was like the UK weather, any little thing would change my mood. Also, at work, I always focussed on myself. I felt that my manager and boss always wanted us to do more or even do things that were unnecessarily needed. Working as an Executive Assistant to Senior Vice President, who was a Singaporean, I desperately needed to improve my English-speaking ability in a short period. I felt pressured and depressed with work and personal life. I did not know what to do.  I live in China, and there are no English – speaking people around me.

I was introduced to David by my work colleague, and I got in touch with him. He began to coach me via We Chat on video. Speaking with him in English, my language began to improve. His methods of mentoring and coaching inspired me. David was very encouraging and made things so easy. This boosted my confidence. I felt I was beginning to make progress fast and felt good about myself.   I felt a sense of achievement in work and the self-confidence.

I passed my English course BEC with high marks which thrilled me. My confidence increased and began to balance work and personal life effectively. I took on hobbies like a watercolour painting. I started painting beautiful pictures, learning to cook a new dish every month.

Where did I live, and also, what happened to me and to part of my family in Italy too? And finally, you have listened and understood how, and why, we got in that situation where we are all now.

I felt that you understood the Who, When, Where, What, and Why I am in this situation, and what has brought me here where I am now.

Also, it was very clear the way you have pointed out all the questions related to my situation I am in, and what: I can do? What I shall do? What I am going to do?  When I will start to do it?  For along I am going to do it per day? You asked me very thought-provoking questions and it gave a ‘food for thought”

As a mentee, my work experience was very enlightening, I believe that your knowledge can really educate and inspire many people who need mentoring and coaching.

In my opinion, your delivery was very good which made me think about a lot of things, your delivery also was very comforting, I liked how you talked about personal experiences you have had in your lifetime, this makes people open up and feel comfortable talking. As well as this, your listening was also great, this shows that you really have an interest in what the person is saying.

Your charisma is great too you have a unique way of showing people how to improve.
